The murder of Gafaru Buraimoh, a resident of Happy Land estate, has sparked protest in the Ajah axis of Lagos state

Buraimoh, a man in his 30s, was said to have been hit by a stray bullet around 10pm on Tuesday in Ajah. On Wednesday morning, residents besieged the police station and other major roads in the area to protest the murder. “The officer behind the shooting, an inspector of police, was immediately disarmed and has been detained, as a full-scale investigation has commenced.
