Pro-Fubara Rivers Assembly screens, confirms Dagogo as commissioner-designate

Iboroma, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, was screened today by the House led by Speaker Victor Jumbo.

The Pro-Fubara lawmakers spoke while screening and confirming Dagogo Israel Iboroma, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, as a commissioner to serve in the State Executive Council. The political war in the state had taken a new twist when the Pro-Fubara swore in Victor Oko Jumbo as the new Speaker of the house and later securing an order of Court barring Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule and 24 other lawmakers loyal to the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, from parading and lawmakers.

At the end, the House affirmed confidence in the nominee, and subsequently confirmed him to serve as commissioner in the State Executive Council.
