This comes after the inability of the Independent National Electoral Commission to open its defence following the absence of three of its first witnesses. The Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja has adjourned the hearing in the petition filed by Labour Party’s Peter Obi.This comes after the inability of the Independent National Electoral Commission to open its defence following the absence of three of its first witnesses.The electoral body through its lawyer Abubakar Mahmoud said he would rely on the testimonies of three witnesses but that its first witness scheduled to be in court today did not show up due to family issues.
