The All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has revealed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured him that his position as the party chairman will remain unchanged.
Ganduje, while addressing Kano state APC officials at his residence in Abuja, said that he met with Tinubu on Monday, and the president reaffirmed his position as the party’s national chairman. He said, “I met with the president, and he told me that my position as APC Chairman, which the Kano State Government was trying to remove me from, will remain unchanged.]The APC had pointed an accusing finger at the Kano state governor, Abba Yusuf of the New Nigerian People’s Party , over the purported suspension of the party chairman from his ward in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano state.
The party further revealed that Yusuf is sponsoring imposters to cause mayhem in APC in Kano state after launching a despicable program of political persecution against Ganduje.
