The Nation Newspaper President Federation Cup: El Kanemi, Pillars, others hit semi finals

Kebbi United and El Kanemi Warriors continued to march on with their impressive performances in the ongoing President’s Federation Cup following their qualification for the semi-final of the competition yesterday.

Sokoto United had eliminated Enyimba 1-0 in the earlier round but Abia Warriors proved undaunted and held their nerves in the penalty shootout to cruise to the last four.Also in Abuja, Kano Pillars defeated Sunshine Stars 5-4 on penalties after the game had ended in a 1-1 draw at regulation time.
