Garba Shehu, spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari, in a statement, said the warning became necessary in view of received reports that about two thousand men and women were allegedly hired to demonstrate against Nigeria’s service chiefs on Monday.
“As part of this overall scheme, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, with its belligerent politics, has been marching from one embassy to the other in protest against the Buhari administration and the nation’s highest court of justice, the Supreme Court”, the statement added. “The recent incident in Maiduguri, Borno State, where an overwhelmingly cheering crowd gathered to welcome President Buhari, while a handful were recorded booing him, is a part this elaborate scheme.
“This was clearly a hired few, but the news was promoted by the opposition who had of course positioned themselves to record the booing – all just to embarrass the President.
In all sincerity, with the level of killings in this country, Buhari no longer has any reason to be called the president!
Buhari and the service chief must go.
there nothing but ungreatful
Those who live by propaganda will surely die by propaganda
Fix Nigeria, stop propaganda, what are afraid of?You're ond driver's seat drive well so dat posterity will not be angry with U.
There is no single person that welcome buhari in maiduguri last Wednesday he had visited the state. I was there at the scene everyone insulting buhari, they are expressing their deep regrets over deceptive method they have done to them to support in heartless man called buhari.
Is the Nigeria constitution now a religious document? The rule of law seems abused! If the alleged info is truth, why not grant all prisoners freedom when they repent? Why are all these alleged selective justices! This is very unfortunate and pure injustice to the bereaved.
Why are you crying out loud! The best way to handle hired crowd is to prove them the people the dividend of democracy! Nigerians are as gullible as before, they see things themselves! What’s the rationale behind the alleged release of the repented Boko Haram terrorist?
