Tony Okafor, Awka

He stated that Nigerians, especially, the leadership had offended God and that the prayers of sinners would not heal any nation. He said that such prayers were an abomination before God. “Every time people say: pray, pray, God is not an author of confusion. God is interested in how we live our lives. Everybody is religious in Nigeria. But religion without ethical values has no meaning because God abhors corruption; and God abhors wickedness.

Yes my Bishop. Action is needed.

Then if prayers cannot, then what can🤷🏽‍♂️? We know, we need more than prayers, but prayers does a lot more for us. If not for the prayers for Nigeria, we would have been at war by now, splitting this country cannot solve our problems, only unity🤝.

I totally agree. It has to be a triple effects especially now more than ever with Nigeria 60. Prayer, Faith and Action should be the new anthem.

Pls tell them ooo

Let them know, we need all to come and have a common goal. If we Nigerians are United and stay together on a goal we would have seen changes but our leaders know we can't come together and drive at a common goal so they exploit our weaknesses.

Very true sir. We need decisive action because God will not come down from Heaven.

Prayers alone has never heal anyone or any nation. Prayers without actions won't yield any results.

Faith without work is dead. If we pray I truth, God by His mercy can reverse what we think k is irreversible. 1 Chronicles 7:14 sums it all.

Finally, a realistic and sensible cleric.

Really Nigeria is the pandemic of itself.

We have been praying for 60years, shouldn't our actions speak for us at this point.

He's right. Miracles don't just happen!

Don't under rate powerful of prayer Allah is capable of things.

The innocent blood shed every now and then will not allowed the prayers and intercession of to be answered . People are dying , suffering , chaos and anachy every where . Nigeria needs more than prayers. The country is in Disarray.

What else can

So what happen to the prayers we have been praying all our lives, oga please say something else.

😊😊😊 tell dem pls..

Very true nothing more to add

What version of Christianity those he practices that does not believed in the power of prayers 🤔

Prayers are part of it but we also need to take a stand the more we keep shot the worse things get

So tell us what can heal Nigeria sir ... When church are more than factories and we all saying no employment

So God alone can't do it this time? 🤣 Naija don craze Las las
