It was learnt that the policeman, in an attempt to stop the victim’s car, fired his rifle at him.
Immediately after the incident occurred, the victim was rushed to an undisclosed hospital where he is currently receiving medical attention.The acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, who said he was anchoring a programme at the Command, promised to react to the incident later.
