Police warn criminals as Operation PUFF ADDER is launched in Yobe - Daily Post Nigeria

The Yobe State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, on Friday, launched Operation PUFF ADDER to get rid of criminals activities in the state.

The launching of the initiative was in compliance with the directive of the Acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu that all Commissioners of Police should replicate and domesticate the operation in their respective commands. “And also to prevent influx of criminal elements to the state considering ongoing security operations in neighbouring states as Yobe has border with four states Gombe, Borno, Bauchi and Jigawa states”.

“in compliance with IGP directive, Yobe state police command inaugurated a special squad codenamed ‘Operation Kukan Maciji’ under the direct supervision of the commissioner of police, comprising of Police Mobile Force , Counter Terrorist Unit , Conventional Police, Special Anti-robbery Squad , State Intelligence Bureau and State Criminal Investigation Department ”, he said.
