In a bid to avert the ugly situation that ensued between officers of the Nigeria Police Force and those of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps

in Imo State, the Kogi State Commandant of NSCDC, Suleiman Mafara has warned officers under his command to be vigilant and ready to display a high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties at all time.

The Commandant re-echoed that one security agency cannot do it all considering the population of Nigeria if compared with the numerical strength of security agencies established in the country. He also called on officers under his command to broaden their operational scope and intelligence knowledge geared towards the protection of lives and properties in Kogi State.

It was further learnt that the arrested police officer was detained, and when his colleagues got wind of the development they came for his release which the state Commandant of NSCDC turned down.
