Police in Jigawa State have raided a kidnappers’ den and arrested two suspects who have been involving in kidnapping activities in the state.

Police Spokesman in the state, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the arrest in a statement forwarded to DAILY POST. It was reported that bandits, armed with dangerous weapons had on December 12, 2021, stormed Bosuwa village and kidnapped a 70-year-old Alh Ali Umar and a 23-year-old Zainab Isa to unknown destination.

The police spokesman said, base on intelligence report, a team of Policemen attached to Garki Divisional Police Headquarters and arrested the suspects.Alh Isah Muhammed after police raided their camp at Dandagare Village, Garki Local Government Area. He said state Commissioner of Police, A S Tafida has ordered the case to be transferred to SCID Dutse, for discreet investigation.Related Topics:
