Elizabeth Egbetokun, wife of the IGP, has distributed some materials to about 100 of its members and PWDs in Bauchi.

Elizabeth Egbetokun, wife of the inspector-general of police and national president of the Police Officers Wives Association , has distributed some materials to about 100 of its members and persons with disabilities in BauchiItems distributed include hair salon equipment, deep freezers, food items, wheelchairs for PWDs and others.

The distribution ceremony was done on Tuesday at the parade ground of the Police Training School, Yelwa, Bauchi state.During the distribution, Egbetokun said the association is committed to providing its members with necessary skills and tools to enable them prosper. She said twenty women from each LGAs in Bauchi will be sponsored by POWA to attend training on improving agriculture production in the United States.In a goodwill message, Aisha Bala Mohammed, wife of Bala Mohammed, the state governor, commended POWA president for her commitment to the welfare of dead officers’ wives. The state governor’s wife was represented by Asma’u Mohammed Auwal, wife of the deputy governor.
