Command of the Nigeria Police has arrested 15 young people identified to be part of the cult known around the state as Shila Boys.
They are routinely picked up in groups of three, five, or more by the police, found always with stolen phones, cash, and such other light items, and with the knives and daggers that they readily use to force their desired items from the owners. The Police said the 15 suspects were arrested during the Sallah celebrations of Wednesday and Thursday mostly within the metropolitan Yola South and Yola North LGAs and the environs.
