Police covering up arrest, detention of my brother after seven months –Sibling of NPA truck driver arrested at Rivers nightclub

36-year-old Ezekiel Tariuwa is the elder brother of Kingsley Tariuwa, a driver with the Nigerian Ports Authority who has yet to be freed more than seven months after he was reportedly arrested and detained by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Rivers State Police Command on January 5. He tells SAMPSON ITODE how his brother’s disappearance has affected his familyMy name is Ezekiel Tariuwa and I am 36 years old. I am a health and safety personnel working with a sugar refinery in Port Harcourt.

The officer was speaking in parables, saying young boys should mind the kind of places they go to, adding that, sometimes, things happen that one cannot control. He later asked us to mention the name of the person I came to look for and I did. So, he called a junior officer and directed him to go and check for such a name, which the officer did and came back saying there was no one like that in their records.
