A community source revealed that the Councilor ran into a neighbouring compound during the attack but sustained bullet wounds and he died there.
“After the attack, residents searched for him at his house but could not find him. We felt he had escaped but unfortunately, we saw his lifeless body in the backyard of a neighbouring compound. “The killing is one too many. it is heartbreaking; it is too hard for us to swallow.
