Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed attack on its operatives at Ngurore Police Station by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
Speaking on the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Sulaiman Ngurore said the attackers stormed the station at about 2 a.m. on Sunday, but no casualty was recorded. “The Commissioner of Police in the State, Mr Mohammed Barde, has ordered the deployment of the operational assets including Police Mobile Force , Counter Terrorism Unit , Crack Squad and Anti-Kidnapping units to Ngurore,” he said.
