Police confirm arrest of four suspects over alleged murder of PDP youth leader in Delta

The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of four suspects in connection with the alleged murder of a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP youth

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the report in a telephone chat with DAILY POST in Warri.She said, “The report is true”, noting that four persons were arrested over the alleged murder of the PDP youth leader.According to DSP Onovwakpoyeya, “The Anti-Cult group members who were involved in the act are said to have been expelled from the group.”

The suspects were arrested during their attempt to sell the mobile phone of the deceased.The buyer promptly contacted security operatives, and with the help of the Anti-Cult group, the Police led by CSP Hassan Issah arrested the suspects late Monday, February 25, 2020.
