Police bust Lagos car snatching syndicate in Kwara

Spokesperson for the command, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi , who disclosed this in a statement, said the detectives were alerted to the suspicious activities of the suspects at a dump site located around the Madi area, along Okolowo/Jebba expressway in Ilorin, the state capital.

She explained that after preliminary investigations, it was revealed the car was snatched at gunpoint in Lagos State and taken to Ilorin for dismantling and resale. According to her, “Two other suspects, Olarewaju Sukirulahi and an individual known as ‘Old Solder,’ remain at large,” adding that “Efforts are ongoing to track down and apprehend these fleeing suspects.”

Meanwhile, Toun said the Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, praised the swift and professional actions of the officers involved in this operation.
