The Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Police has cracked some criminal networks involved in kidnapping and armed robbery in the state.The command which said this on Tuesday explained that the arrest took place within the last three months, making it possible to recover items which the suspects used for or gained from their activities, including seven AK 47 rifles, four locally made guns, three G3 rifles, a motorcycle, two phones and other.
The Commissioner of Police said, “On the 16th of May 2021, operatives of the command attached to CID apprehended Abubkar Usman for inviting his three friends: Safiyana aka Pata, Ahmadu Ubandu and Didol who are now at large and jointly raped a 25-year-old woman who they deceitfully invited to Ebis Hotel in Demsawo, Yola.”
The two include Ibrahim Baba, a resident of the Song local government area who denounced kidnapping and handed over his two G3 rifles and five rounds of live ammunition.
