Police arrest two men for allegedly stealing 7 cars at Redemption Camp

DAILY POST learnt that the duo are from Benin-City and Onitsha respectively.

Oyeyemi disclosed that the suspects were arrested after they were reported by one Titilayo Otitodogbon, whose Toyota Camry car was stolen on February 1, at the Redemption camp police station. Ezi, it was reported, was apprehended on March 10, as he made a confessional statement that led the operatives to Onitsha in Anambra State, where his accomplice was also arrested on March 15.

Oyeyemi, in a release, stated that, “two men, Friday Ezi 43yrs of No. 5 Adesuah Iyamo Benin-City and Onyekachi Atama 27yrs of Akabigbo Street Ugwuagba Onitsha have been arrested by operatives of Ogun State Police Command for stealing up to seven vehicles belonging to different individuals at Redemption Camp during their various religious programs.”
