Police arrest two for murder, five cultists in Ogun | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News ⚠️

The police in Ogun, yesterday, arrested five suspected cultists terrorising the Aboro area of the state.The Guardian learnt that the suspects: Adetayo Ismaila, ‘m’, 42; Kunle Oluwole, ‘m’, 37; Ibrahim Ademosun, ‘m’, 31; Meshach Olaide, ‘m’, 31; and Dare Kehinde, ‘m’, 35, have confessed to various crimes, including murder.

“The suspects were in a hideout that the source described for Isaac, they were known for fomenting trouble in that locality. “Dangerous items recovered include, broken bottles, cutlasses, knife and significant amount of cannabis, pointing to the fact that they are under the influence of hard drugs. The Pin Down Team, led by Inspector Sunday Adeyemo, arrested one Esube, ‘m’, during a patrol of Okeganmu in Ilaro Division. Osunmuyiwa Solomon, ‘m’, was also arrested after a revelation from Esube that both of them had been involved in a series of killings in their area.
