The police have nabbed nine suspects who allegedly kidnapped a member of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Mohammed Bape, last December.
The gang members were among the 48 suspects paraded in Abuja on Thursday, according to a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba.The gang members include, Yusuf Abubakar, 31; Muntari Umar, 27; Ahmadu Dahiru, 28;Ali Wurungo, 25; Buhari Nuhu, 25; Mohd Garba, 30; Yusuf Jibrillah, 23; Adamu Ahmadu aka Bulala 32 and one Idi Suleiman.
The force said exhibits recovered include 14 AK47 rifles, 10 AK47 magazines, 58 live cartridges, four AK47 live ammunition, four POS machines, two laptop computers, 18 mobile phones, Internet modem and nine ATM cards.
