Police operatives in Enugu have arrested no fewer than 202 suspects for their alleged involvement in kidnapping, armed robbery, rape and other offences across the state.
Uzuegbu noted that some of the suspects have been arraigned in court and remanded at the correctional centres while the remaining ones will be arraigned after completion of investigations.Out of the 202 suspects, the CP said 35 were allegedly involved in kidnapping, while others were apprehended over armed robbery, vandalisation, murder, cultism, rape and unlawful possession of firearms.
Uzuegbu, who described Enugu State as the most peaceful state in the country, added that the people of the state are law-abiding.
