The Police have arrested at least 20 members of the proscribed group, the Indigenous People Of Biafra .
According to him, on the May 21, at about 11:00 pm, the Force got a report that the IPOB members came out in large numbers, moving around with dangerous weapons and hoisting flags of the proscribed group on poles and billboards along the Asaba-Onitsha expressway in Onitsha. However, 12 suspects were arrested and over fifty flags with different inscriptions of IPOB/MASSOB and Biafran independent movements were seized as exhibits.
