The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested four suspected armed robbers terrorising residents along the Ringim-Gidan-Lage axis of the state.
ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam, Spokesman of the command, told DAILY POST that the suspects were arrested in connection with robbery cases in the area. He explained that the most recent incident was the robbing and killing of a 25-year-old motorcyclist, Adamu Abdullahi, at Gasakole village, Ringim Local Government Area of the state.
The suspects arrested are Ali Muhammad Kwalle, Mamuda Isa, Idi Ali, Adamu Muhammad and Mohammed Umaru, all of Kurusko village M/Madori LGA. He said the suspects have been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Unit for thorough investigation.
