Police Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye, who disclosed the arrest in a statement made available to DAILY POST in Owerri, said the command, through painstaking and diligent investigations, arrested three suspects, namely Joseph Onyema, 35, Uzoma Nwanoreze, 30, and Eberechukwu Nwosu, 43.
'The victim is currently receiving intense medical care at the hospital. The suspects will have their day in court upon completion of a discreet investigation. 'The Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, Aboki Danjuma, while condemning the barbaric acts in totality, calls on well-meaning residents of Imo State to support the Police in the onslaught against defilement, rape, and other sexual-related crimes in the State.
