He remanded the accused persons to the correctional centre, while the minor among them was sent to a remand home.

The Zamfara State Police Command has arrested five suspects on allegations of cannibalism.

He said the Magistrate Court had no jurisdiction in the case. He said the police further submitted the outcome of their investigation to the DPP for reassignment of the case to a court of competent jurisdiction for proper prosecution.The case was adjourned to 15th March, 2022 for further mention.
