The accused were charged with stealing three motorcycles and a vulcanising machine in Ora-Igbomina, Ifedayo Local Government Area, Osun.
According to Jacob, the accused stole a vulcanising machine worth N105 000 from one Olajide Oluwatope on March 9 at 9 pm on Papa Street in Ora-Igbomina. “On April 10, around 5:20 am, at Oke-Kanga Street in Ora-Igbomina, the accused also stole a Jincheng motorcycle belonging to one Samson Opeyemi, valued at N70,000.
According to the police prosecutor, the offences violated Sections 516, 383, and 390 of the Criminal Code Cap. 34 Vol. II, Laws of Osun, 2002.Their counsel, Kehinde Adepoju, made an oral application for bail in the most lenient terms.
