Ikeokwu said, “We are assuring members of the public that we are capable of protecting them and they can go about their business without molestation and enjoy the October 1 public holiday as declared by the Federal Government.” Members of SONAIMBF in Diaspora, led by one Sidney Imobhio, in a statement issued after their meeting in New York on Wednesday, said although they believed in the indivisibility of the nation, they insisted that the clarion calls and opinion of all nationalities must be addressed without further delay.
