The lawmaker in a statement made available to DAILY POST by his Media Aide, Mr Danja Yakubu, described the killing and arrest of 6 kidnappers in Mangu Local Government Council of the state as a good development and a warning to criminal elements that their days were over.

Hon. Bagos, who is the Deputy Chairman, Reps Committee on Corruption, said, it took courage and gallantry for the operatives to achieve that feat. The statement noted: “This proactive and responsive development is not only commendable and reassuring but also a sad reminder that Plateau State is still in the books of criminal elements aimed at destabilizing the state at all cost.”

The lawmaker regretted the casualties on the side of security operatives that led to the loss of two Police officers. “Sadly, in the crossfire, we lost two brave men of the Nigeria Police.
