Defending champions, Kano Pillars and Safety Babes, will today begin their titles defence in the men and women categories of the 2022 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League Phase One at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

Day one fixtures will see Benue Buffaloes take on Lagos Seasiders, while Police Machine will battle with titleholders, Kano Pillars in the second match, just as Confluence Stars will try their strength against Tojemarine in the men’s category.

In the Women’s class, Kada Queens will face Defender Babes in the opening fixture, Rima Queens will take on Edo Dynamos, while Seasider Babes will take on defending champions, Safety Babes. Today’s matches will begin by 7.00 a.m. at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Package B and the Velodrome at the Package A side of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
