The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, Lagos State Governor-elect, Jide Sanwo-Olu, and others attended the funeral prayers of the deceased father of the Lagos Deputy Governor-Elect, Obafemi Hamzat on Monday.
The Deputy governor-elect lost his father, Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, the traditional ruler of Afowowa Kingdom in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State on Sunday. He was aged 86. Sanwo-Olu shared photos of the funeral prayers on his Twitter handle and wrote, “In all things, we give thanks.drobafemihamzat’s father Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, Olu of Afowowa was laid to rest this morning. My wife & I joined the national leader of our party Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, other party chieftains, friends & well-wishers at the burial.”Also at the Islamic funeral rites was the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Oluranti Adebule.
