Manual labourers working on Ipaja-Ikola-Command road with the boulder-sized gravels allegedly donated by an anonymous individual... on Monday PUNCH Photos

Speaking with some men who were supervising the unusual road work on Monday, our Correspondent learnt that an anonymous man had donated the boulder-sized gravels for the “repair” of the road. Asked if he did it on behalf of the Lagos State Government, he said it was voluntary and that he did not want his name in print.

Continuing, he said, “We spend hours trying to navigate this three-minute drive because of the bad road.
