The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Saturday visited the family of the slain newspaper vendor, Ifeanyi Okereke, who was shot by his security detail.
Mr Gbajabiamila condoled with the wife and family of the late vendor at Kwata village, Madalla-Suleja, Niger State.Also at the home of the deceased were members of the Association of Newspapers Distributors led by their president, Benjamin Obute.
The speaker acted well .this is also indirectly what we are talking about police brutality and overzealous characters breeded over the years

Make a public execution of the security man that shot the vendor. Detaining him is not enough ,u will still release him.he must be used as an example to warn other trigger happy security personnel endsars
This is the problem in Nigeria... Politicians kill your people and give u small money pretending to console the family. Then we forget. Try and slap or injure a politicians child or family member....u will be killed, jailed or labelled a HOODLUM and terrorist.
I hope he will keep his promises to the family and not just to score a political point with his visit
