Penalty for rapists of the economy

The senator representing Cross-river north , Rose Oko had drawn the attention of her colleagues in the upper chamber to the increasing report on rape in the country. She observed that children are being raped on a daily basis and based on this, advocated for stiffer laws against the perpetrators of this heinous act. Indeed, raping minors and infants is tantamount to destroying their future and subjecting them to emotional turmoil.

Where are the officials of government that served between this period of time? Are they in jail? They are walking free because our laws for fighting corruption are weak and no effort is being made to amend them because those that will do it are also culprits.
