PDP threatens litigation as APC opens talks with three governors - Punch Newspapers

Our correspondent gathered in Abuja, on Monday, that the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker/Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee has begun talks with three PDP governors namely: Okezie Ikpeazu, his Enugu State counterpart, Ifeanyi Ugwanyi and Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri.

“After him, we are expecting Governor Ikpeazu to follow. Talks have reached an advanced stage. You know will be concluding his second term by 2023 and of course, he would want to remain politically relevant. Details of conditions are still being worked out by both parties. “We expect that they and their supporters will take advantage of our ward, local government and state congresses to get a foothold in the party, the APC is a party for all Nigerians.”

He said, “It is unfortunate that we have a ruling party that has completely lost focus. The APC is one political party that came to power using propaganda and still thinks it can sustain itself using the same means.

It should be an electoral crime to cross carpet after being voted for. It is a cowardly act and a slap to voters who put you in there because of the trust of the party.

Same Amina Mohammed has no achievement to boast since she took office in UN. Same woman did not want to tell the world how Biafrans are being killed till this hour. Hypocrisy is what is going to destroy UN soon. Biafrans wants to leave Nigeria, same woman is not commenting.

There should be law on decamping When votes into office by a political party, when decamping then it means a new election had to be held in regards to it We are tired of decamping every time That’s why none of them are working bcoz they know they can decamp to get immunity

Why the cry? As if there is diff btw the PDP and APC...both are like a room and a parlour..

I think defection is something that should be addressed in our laws. No incentive for loyalty to party or ideology based on current laws.
