The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), yesterday, disqualified its former National Vice Chairman (South West), Eddy Olafeso, from contesting

Also affected are Prof. Adewale Abiodun Oladepo and Okey Muo-Aroh, who was eyeing the National Secretary seat.

He regretted that the affected aspirants failed to exhaust the internal conflict resolution mechanism as spelt out in Section 51 of the party’s constitution. Speaking ahead of the 2023 general elections, the PDP presidential candidate in the 2019 poll insisted that Nigeria needed a leader that would unify, restructure and guarantee the security of its citizens.

In his remarks, Dokpesi said the country’s growth and development would be realised only if insecurity is properly addressed and Nigerians are united.The media mogul, who also unveiled his book titled, The handkerchief, to mark his birthday, urged young Nigerians to remain committed to the cause of building a better and advanced country for the betterment of all.
