Kinsmen of Bayelsa Commissioner for Information, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, have warned some politicians in the Peoples Democratic Party to count their brother out of their political desperation in the choice of the party’s running mate.
Describing such efforts to tarnish the image of the commissioner as amusing and kindergarten, Okaniba, who referred to Iworiso-Markson as a true son of Ogbia Kingdom from Opume, said their brother had distinguished himself as a thoroughbred professional in the Restoration Government. He said the group noticed that such few jealous individuals resorted in deploying wicked tactics, maneuvers and shenanigans including blackmails, gossips and outright lies to create bad blood between their fine gentleman brother and the governor.
While noting that such attempt would still collapse like a pack of cards, Okaniba said their brother had never expression any ambition of becoming a running mate and had never taken a position at variance with his boss. “We know for sure that our kinsman, Iworiso-Markson has always expressed his willingness to work hard in bringing to fruition any decision taken by his boss and the restoration government.
He added: “We want to state clearly that Iworiso-Markson, a true son of Ogbia Kingdom from Opume, has distinguished himself as a thoroughbred professional in the Restoration Government of our amiable Governor, Seriake Dickson.
