PDP berates Buhari over refusal to expose terrorism sponsors - Punch Newspapers

THE Peoples Democratic Party has challenged the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress regime to come clean on allegations of its complicity in financing terrorism by naming those found complicit.

It also noted that the refusal to expose the identities of sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria vindicates the PDP’s position that the APC-led regime has been providing official cover for terrorists and bandits pillaging the nation. This was contained in a statement titled, ‘Expose Terrorism Sponsors If You Are Not Complicit, PDP Challenges APC, Buhari Presidency,’ signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, in Abuja.

He said, “The PDP asserts that the refusal by the Buhari Presidency to expose the sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria vindicates its position that the APC government has been providing official cover for terrorists and bandits pillaging the nation. “The PDP position is predicated on the declaration of the Buhari Presidency that it was not interested in making public the names of six Nigerians reportedly sent to the Federal Government by the United Arab Emirates as sponsors of terrorism in our country.

If any opposition member was involved, they would have named and demonised

How do anyone think Buhari will expose the sponsors when he is the leader of the sponsor s?

The UAE already gave the names and Femi Adesina said the govt is not interested in naming and shaming but in prosecution and justice against the perpetrators! Of what use is media trials?
