The party leadership from the state to ward levels met at the State Party Secretariat in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday to strategize and unite the party ahead of the governorship election. Speaking at the event tagged ‘Unity Meeting’, Senator Biodun Olujimi called on the party leaders to come together and bring the party back to reckoning. She appealed to them to forgive each other and think outside the box on how to generate resources for the party to come back to limelight.
He said: “It’s a welcome development because the problem we have been having in the party is that of leadership and how to unite the party because we are having so many factions in the party. “After the last gubernatorial election, we had serious problems even during the course of the election, most of our party members decamped to SDP which reduced the number of our party members. “Since then we have been finding it difficult to bring our party together.
