He disclosed this in Makurdi on Tuesday when he and members of his Campaign Organisation were at the Bishop House, Makurdi, to solicit the support and prayers of the Catholic Bishop of Makurdi Diocese, Bishop Wilfred Anagbe of his intention to run for the seat of the governor of Benue.
The aspirant who was also accompanied on the occasion by some high-ranking politicians as well as technocrats in the state intimated Bishop Anagbe that he felt as a Christian, it was necessary for him to introduce himself and receive spiritual blessing from the Bishop before embarking on the journey.
He said, given the opportunity to serve, he would work towards generating independent electricity, which has become a major impediment and also encourages investors to come and invest in Benue. The PDP gubernatorial aspirant further maintained that the only way Benue can successfully move forward was to stamp out insecurity, adding that he received the best security training at the National Institute for Security Studies that has adequately armed him to handle crisis situations.
