Ganduje, who made the disclosure in Kano, Monday evening, during an interactive session with UNICEF Advocacy Group in collaboration, with State Universal Basic Education Board and High-Level Women Advocacy at Government House, warned that henceforth, parents, who refused to enrol their children in schools, risk arrest and prosecution. To this effect, the Governor, also warned that parents, who decide to send their children into the streets, would not only be arrested but risk prosecution.
Ganduje said, “With the bill signed into law, parents who refused to enrol their children would be taken to court. “Children begging on the streets, instead of going to school would be arrested, their parents would be arrested and charged to court for prosecution because begging is not our religion. Begging is not Islamic.”

Dollar 💰 man
Have u developed learning infrastructure that will accommodate the children before coming to arrest parents? Do the needful first before u set punishment.
Mr Governor. This is a good move especially if you gonna make free education because that's exactly what stop them going to school.
This guy just wake up
I hope it will be enforced
Mahatma Gan-Dollar has spoken
What about those caught stashing wads in their clothing, what happens to them? Just asking sir!
This is good ganduje that's how u suppose to behave not in the other way , and make sure that free education system that u have promised you have to fulfilled it & u have to monitor it carefully in order to ensure that free education is going smoothly in KANO STATE ENTIRELY 💖👍
