THE Pan Niger Delta Forum has asked states in the Niger Delta region not to be cowed by the statement credited to the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association that a cow will sell for N2m in Lagos if the anti-open grazing bill is passed into law in the state.

Speaking in a separate interview with The PUNCH, the spokesman for PANDEF, Mr. Ken Robinson, explained that it was better for cow meat to be costly than for innocent Nigerians to be kidnapped, killed or maimed. Robinson also charged the police and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps to be dispassionate in enforcing the law against the open grazing of cattle.

This is a change of strategy and the end has not been designed to favour Benue in any way. Na by force? What's the problem with this nomadics
