The Kwara Government said it has received 12,058 bags of grains of maize, millet and sorghum from the Federal Government.
The state Commissioner for Communications, Mrs Bola Olukoju stated this in a statement in Ilorin on Thursday. The grains comprised 7,042 of 50kg bags of maize, 2,916 of 50kg bags of millet and 2,100 of 50kg bags of sorghum.She said that the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Abubakar Kyari would flag off the distribution of the grains in the state soon.She said that the state government has always supported the people of the state in coping with the hardship caused by the removal of fuel subsidy.
