Oyo: Police arrest OPC members who arrested Wakili - Daily Post Nigeria

The Oyo State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists , on Sunday, accused the security agencies of being partial in handling the recent civil disturbance at Shasha market in Ibadan.death of a Yoruba man, Mr. Shakirideen Adeola,

DAILY POST gathered that all the seven suspects arrested by the police are all from the Yoruba ethnic group.The union in a communique issued at the end of its March Congress, also urged the Federal Government to beef up the security network nationwide for the security of lives and Property. “That the Federal Government should beef up security networks nationwide for the security of lives and Property.“That the Congress decried the arrest of only Yoruba suspects after a recent Sasa public disturbance, putting questions on the security agents’ partial operational approach.

There's no doubt that the police is working with the criminals in the south that is the fact we need to know. We need to be very careful something is missing here.

Gumi is working freely the so called police didn't do anything about it. This man called Wakilu has been terrorised that community for long without police intervene but now that the OPC nails him is now become headache for our police.

Same police have failed to arrest gumi

It's easy for police to take action on issue like this. Nigeria security is pathetic!
