DAILY POST gathered that Oladejo’s reinstatement was in line with the judgement of an Oyo High Court of Justice delivered in October 2018.He was later deposed during the administration of the immediate past Governor of the state, Mr. Abiola Ajimobi in 2012.But an Oyo state High Court sacked Olagoke in October 2018, describing his appointment as illegal.
Olagoke was sacked by a High Court in the state in a judgement delivered on October 5th, 2018 after 19 years legal battle on who is the rightful person to occupy the stool. The Court also nullified Olagoke’s installation, describing it as “unlawful, illegal, null and void” and “a breach of the right of the claimants to fair hearing.”
The government was then ordered to reinstate Oladejo to his position as Baale of Lanlate and restore all the rights, privileges and entitlements attached to his office.Makinde who took over from Ajimobi has however approved the reinstatement of Oladejo as prescribed by the Court.
