Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, directed civil servants from level 13 and above in the state to resume duty on Monday.The governor, said only one entrance to the state secretariat would be opened in the meantime.
In addition, he said COVID-19 compliance guidelines would be provided for markets in the state, stressing that “only markets that meet up with the guidelines would be allowed to reopen.” Meanwhile, Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has relaxed the coronavirus lockdown imposed on the state and directed churches to commence full activities.Before the broadcast, church activities had been restricted for 14 days as past of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

What has become of the States which are on total lockdown since the surface of the pandemic? They are the infecting ones to neighbouring States. Majority of the carriers of the disease in Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Ondo passed through Lagos and Ogun. Citizens need pragmatic approaches.

Pple didn't actually read the news b4 making comments. GSM is relaxing the curfew from 7pm-6am to 7pm-5am to allow farmers to work early b4 sunrise. And he opened the State Secretariat for civil servants from level 12 and above. Plus gathering of pple more than 10 is prohibited

So far the South-Eastern states are doing well to prevent the virus from coming in. I commend the govt and people for doing what's necessary to cub the spread down here.
Oyo had been safe, no need for total lockdown, people taking hygiene serious, small shop get soap and water for washing hands, people put bucket of water and soap in front of their gates, every customer will ask you for soap and water before they enter your shop.
There's been no cases there so far.

It is a good one but the problem however is that this lockdown is not working & people are still entering states whether you like it or not.
Those governor want high number of convid-19 in there state, so that they can be qualified for federal government convid-19 disbursement fund. Na the billions den dey after. What is their testing capacity in their states before relaxing the lockdown?
Schools should resume back pls....even it its only universities
