Hadiza Dagabana, the Acting Director General, National Identity Management Commission disclosed this in an interview with theDagabana urged all concerned applicants, who are yet to collect their cards, to request for their identity card nationwide, or request for its transfer to their new location. She said that the Commission has registered over 37 million Nigerians in its National Identity Database out of over 200 million Nigerian populations.
The DG said that the process allows successful enrollees to request for the transfer of their National e-ID Card to any NIMC Registration and Card Collection Centres of their choice for collection. The acting DG said “As I’m telling you now, we have over 700, 000 cards that are lying there in our offices, that the owners have not come to claim.“We have spent money sending SMS to the numbers that were provided.
Where are they? How do I know mine is ready for collection? nimc_ng kindly answer but not with go to where you registered because I have been going there for some years now and right now, we don't spend money till we are sure of why we are spending it!
This is unbelievable... I registered since February 2014 and is not yet out... Who is deceiving who?
Yes, have not collected mine since 2014 feb
They should bring it to our homes for collection, cos when you go to their office, they will tell you not ready
Send text messages to the owners, I've been told mine is not ready after six years of registration.
I registered for this for about a year now but haven't got a feedback from sending IE to the help desk! I must have sent close to a hundred and the center I registered keeps telling me to try again! Atimes you just wonder.........

Please ask nimc_ng where these said uncollected card are. Because my own is there. And I need mine. Thank you.

U people re not serious for once
Have done my since 2015, only what I have with me is the temporary paper. Still waiting for the day they will call or text me to come and collect my 💳, becus have gone several times all they keep saying we will inform you when ur 💳 is out. Those Port Harcourt can testify to dat
Is mine among this number?
You must be high on Nairamarley’s product.
Is not a good thing
Yes,because NIMC frustrated Nigerians by taking too long to produce just a simple card. Improve your turnaround time...
Since 2017 I have not received mine too
It should remain with them, everything Nigerian is different, why will I collect a card I will pay to renew it that how to raise revenue from everyone while few will steal it
Did mine in 2012 but each time I go to their office, their rude staff will shout at me saying if I haven't received a text message from them, I have no business coming to their office
nimc, you are not being truthful. The I D Cards that ready are meant for 2014. We register in 2015 and we are told that our cards are not ready. I did mine at Ikorodu
All this Na Scam, which message they sent ?
amuiludun How many were produced?
Who wants nonsense? Collect card that will cost me 3k to renew? Who have we offended in Nigeria?
We’ve lost interest abeg
They should convert it to visa.
Are they available? Have you informed the owners that they are available? Your States and Local government officials don't communicate properly even on inquiry.
Rubbish,I don't need your master card ID card,i already had master cards ATM from my banks.
NIMC promised to send text messages for all those who registered for the national identity card. It's been two and half years I registered . still waiting for their sms. What a shame nimc.
Where are d cards nah? I registered since 2014 and still have d slip. They should send down d cards to d LG where we registered and make public announcement to that effect so dt we'll get our cards. We are eager sir.
I am yet to receive an alert for the collection of mine.
Nonsense people. Did mine since 2016 and I'm yet to see the card.
Let's try home delivery
Brazen liars. How can a DG come out to spit lies in this manner? Yet we expect the society to be morally upright. If people changed phone numbers, did they change emails also? It is not about those yet to be collected but how many you have issued. Shameless nimc_ng
See demonstration of craze. (in fellas voice) wey the card, something you never issued out yet claiming 'yet to be collected' as if pipu no won collect....🤔
I have been going for several occasions to collect my e-ID card but ur workers keep saying that is not ready since I av not receive text message on my phone for over 5yrs I av done it. In fact there approaches is not politely 'll in my local government.. Eti-Osa thanks
I ve not seen my own
After all when u go to their office to collect your permanent ID,they will tell you, yours is not ready after waiting for 5 years, but they will be publishing that people are not collecting their permanent ID cards, hhhmmm na wooh
nimc_ng must learn the modern grassroots information & data collection strategy & this must also be applied to ID cards collection by citizens. You are sitting on potentially enormous IGR & yoy also hold the key to unlock exceedingly abundant wealth & development for Nigeria.
We no collect or u didn't give us?
something that a lot of people who registered have grown old and many have died... Take it to grave site by 12midnight & and call names.
Story
Tired of going there every day. When mine is ready, mail it to me and post bills. Rubbish 😤
Na lie oga, I registered for the past 3 years in your OSOGBO office of osun state, you are still telling me that the card is not yet ready till last week
And over seven years also you failed to issue me with the card.
The problem really is that nimc_ng does not appropriately inform the owners of these cards that the cards are ready. Visits to their offices nationwide meet with rebuff from its staff. You are told that you would be informed when your ID card is ready even when no effort is made
😂😂😂😂 9ja
Please tell us the figure of those that have captured 5 years ago and their e-ID is not ready yet.
Even, those of us who are in hurry to have it have not been given. I enrolled for it on December, 2014, but yet to have the permanent National ID card.
Send sms or email messages to the owners of uncollected NIMC cards. Many people just like me have visited NIMC office several times and only to be told that your NIMC card is not ready.
Nimc is a scam . Since 2014 i did mine , when i check on their site is still not available.
Yes, because you made it difficult to be collected.
The Commission lacks notifications if the cards is ready
Since it is now a form of revenue, statistics is active.
people are languishing in property and d best way to encourage them to get their NIN is by paying 5k for it? NIMC must be kidding.
'iro ni oo'
I did mine since 2013, yet is not out
Which one is e-ID cards again?
The DG of nimc_ng lied about sending SMS. They are yet to contact me since 2014 and tomorrow they will message me to come pay when it's expired. They should send email if they feel SMS is taking their money
Is that the reason why they have chosen not to manufacture for millions other that have been captured over five years ago?
The government agent should send SMS to the beneficiaries/ owners for prompt collection.
Blah blah blah. Portal isn't even working to check the status of my card.
Is our cards ready since over 5years have registered no card
I registered since September 2014 and I still have no info about my card
Please o didn’t get any notification whatsoever from your office neither did I get any mail, I have my slip since 2015 + tracking id if u want me to produce it so I know how far it’s gone. nimc_ng
But guys are the ones that no one should come for collection until he/she recieve a text so pls do d needful
How useless you are... You know how many times I have gone round your organization requesting for my card.. And you keep saying it's in kano, zamfara, Benue, Abuja.. As if I don't have job to do... Rubbish.
The truth is that lots of the owners of those e-ID cards don't even know that they are ready, sending sms to them would be a very good idea.
You mean expired cards? 😁
LIARS!!!!!!!!
Useless set of people, i registered in 2013
The question should be, how many people have registered and how many have been processed by nimc_ng .... I_amTorpee SundayMorning
While millions are yet to be made.
Why will they be collected? when you go there to collect the staff there will make you part with some money for them to get it for you,so most ppl just leave it there why waste lean resources ?
Madness
How can we get our card please?
Until we have institutions that will tell the truth,Nigeria will remain the way it is. Release the data for the cards you're yet to produce. Let's see how serious this institution is.
We want the card
What is the use of collecting data if it's not going to be used. They have our phone numbers, let them send messages to people and stop waiting for tips
Whose fault is that? When in process of filling the form one is required to specify method of collection and the whole infrmtn is with you how will one know his card is ready when the process is very slow. I did mind since 2014 which I'm yet to be notify if it's ready or not.
E don ready?
Including mine
Keep it abeg you guyz
Stop lying to the public please,I did mine for the past four years now and its not ready anytime I visited the NIMC OFFICE (NASARAWA STATE)
Over 2million not ready since 2005
I haven't collected mine
nimc_ng Send the owners text, believe me, they will collect them all within one week.
Including my own!
How can one check the readiness of his/her card for pick up?
Is it available and we refused to collect it? Useless People
