The Nigerian Navy had warned prospective applicants of the Direct Short Service Commission Course 28 to avoid falling prey to fraudsters who may lure them with promises of getting them into the force.

This announcement was made Monday following the NN’s commencement of its DSSC Course 28 application processes. According to a statement by the Director of Naval Information, Commodore Suleman Dahun, those seeking to apply to join the service must be Nigerians by birth, possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Degree for University graduates or Upper Credit for Higher National Diploma holders.

It said male applicants must be 1.68metre tall and above, while females should not be below 1.65metres.“Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificates and should be between 22 and 28 years by 7 January 2021, except for Imams/Chaplains and Medical Consultants who should not exceed 30 years and 40 years respectively by 7 January 2021.“All the processes ranging from online registration, aptitude test, and the selection interview are FREE OF CHARGE.
