Apex Igbo socio-political organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has called for the disbandment of the Ebubeagu security outfit in Imo State.Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Secretary-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, said the body has handed over the killing of some wedding guests in Otulu area of the state to God and deities for prosecution.
A statement by Isiguzoro reads partly: “Ohanaeze calls for the disbandment of Ebubeagu security outfit Imo State chapter, as they have turned into a killer squad that had outlived its usefulness, instead of serving the purpose of which they were established as an intelligence gathering organization for the society, they have become a pro bandit and state-sponsored terror groups.
“Ndigbo has handed over the tragic incident and the Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state to Almighty God and Igbo deities for prosecution and actions.
